As the New Jersey Titans continue to retool their roster in anticipation of the Robertson Cup Playoffs, today they announced the trade of defenseman Brian Robertson to the Springfield Jr Blues in exchange for a 2023 tender.
“We want to thank Brian for his year and a half in New Jersey,” said General Manager and Head Coach Craig Doremus. “Brian is a mature young man with a bright future. We wish him the best of luck in Springfield and moving forward in his career”.
The Littleton, Colorado, native has been a mainstay for the Titans’ blueline since joining the team at the beginning of last season. In 70 games as a Titan, Robertson recorded 4 goals and 16 assists for 20 points.
The Titans will be in action again next Friday, January 19th, when they host the Maine Nordiques.
