The Titans would like to announce that EHL forward Caleb Callaway has verbally committed to St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. Caleb is a 96’ birth year and this is his first year with the Titans. Last season Caleb played for the Atlanta Fire in the NAPHL where the Titans coaching staff noticed him and knew that he could do great things in the organization. Besides being a role model on the ice, Caleb also realizes the importance of being a good role model off the ice. Caleb and two other Titans players have started an anti-bullying seminar too present to schools in Middletown, NJ.
Head coach of St. Olaf, Coach Goldsworthy, said “ we are excited to have Caleb join our program next year. There is a big jump between college hockey and junior hockey, Caleb is already a tremendous skater and has good stick skills but by taking a year off to play with the Titans will make the transition a little easier for him.” Last year St. Olaf lost in the semifinals for the MIAC men’s hockey playoffs
“The Titans have helped me by offering me a higher level of competition and letting me focus on developing as a hockey player in my gap year before I head off to St. Olaf. Hockey was part of a broader search for me, and St. Olaf was a good fit academically, athletically, and socially. I would like to thank Coach Goldsworthy for giving me this opportunity, and the Titans for providing me the chance to develop in their program.”
Congrats Caleb and good luck in the future!
