The Titans have announced today that they have traded forward Blake Farrell and assets to the Amarillo Wranglers for forward Dominik Bartecko.
Between last season and this, Farrell had 18 total points (6 goals and 12 assists) in 57 games. He had a point (an assist) in nine Robertson Cup playoff games last year.
“We want to thank Blake for all of his hard work and time as a Titan” said Titans head coach and general manager Craig Doremus. “Blake was a big part of bringing the Robertson Cup to New Jersey last year and we wish him nothing but the best of luck moving forward” said Doremus.
Bartecko is 5’8”, 175 lb forward from Praha, CZE. Last season he spent with the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL). He had nine total points (1 goal and 8 assists) in 55 games.
This year Bartecko has 13 total points (2 goals and 11 assists) in 14 games with the Wranglers.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dominik to New Jersey” said Doremus. “Dominik is a talented, young forward who has two years of junior experience already. We think Dominik will complement our forward group extremely well. We are excited to see him in New Jersey this week and we look forward to him being a Titan” concluded Doremus.
