The New Jersey Titans started their training camp today. Youth teams started their skates at Howell Ice World, while the U16, U18, Met, and EHL teams had their off ice combines and first skates at Middletown Ice World. For off ice the players went through the same combine that NHL prospects go through, with everything done on the turf field outside of the Middletown Pool Club. The teams also have their first skates today, with the U16 and U18 AAA teams skating at 1:30 and the Met and EHL teams skating at 3:30. The Titans are fortunate to have 3 college coaches attending and helping out with training camp as well. Coach Mike Haviland of Colorado College (NCAA D1), Coach Aaron Saul of Elmira College (NCAA D3), and Coach Rocky Romanella of Delaware (AHCA D1) are all in attendance to help run Titans training camp.
