New Jersey Acquires Odie Ford

Jan 8, 2024

The New Jersey Titans are proud to announce the acquisition of defenseman Odie Ford from the New Hampshire Mountain Kings, in exchange for a 2023 tender.  The ’04 birth year hails from Freeport, NY, and will be expected to provide a more physical element on the Titans’ blueline, clocking in at 6’3″ and 205 lbs. Ford, however, plays a clean game, taking only two penalties so far this season.

General Manager and Head Coach Craig Doremus said, “We are excited to add Odie to our team.  He is a long, athletic defenseman who will fit in well with our locker room.  We look forward to having him in New Jersey as we continue to make a push towards the Robertson Cup.”

This season, Ford’s first in the NAHL, he has recorded a goal and five assists with the expansion Mountain Kings.  He is expected to make his debut soon, as the Titans will travel to face the Philadelphia Rebels tomorrow.  Faceoff is scheduled for 7:30pm.
