The New Jersey Titans are proud to celebrate the first professional contract signed by Ryan Naumovski with the Kalamazoo K-Wings of the ECHL. The 33rd Titan to play professionally in North America, Naumovski played for the Titans from 2017 to 2019, recording 105 points in 114 NAHL games before making the jump to the NCAA ranks with Niagara University.
Naumovski became the prime example of steadiness and dependability with the Purple Eagles, appearing in every game for the team in his four seasons in Niagara. He recorded 81 points in 132 games, before joining Augustana University for his graduate year. This season, Naumovski has been the NCAA Ironman leader, stretching his run to 166 straight games over the past five years and recording 25 points for the Vikings, their first at the Division I level.
“We are so proud of Ryan and his signing of his first professional contract,” said Head Coach Craig Doremus. “Ryan came to New Jersey years ago as an extremely talented and motivated young man. He had a huge impact from on our program from day one, and is still one of the best offensive players to ever wear our uniform.”
Doremus continued, “I have remained very close with Ryan to this day and was so happy to see him have a very successful collegiate career. He is a special young man and an excellent hockey player. I am happy for his family as well, as Ryan gets to play close to home and his family can be there to support him. It make me so happy to think of how proud Beba and Voncho must be to see Ryan get to the next step in his hockey journey. We wish him the best of luck in the remainder of the season in Kalamazoo, and he will always have many folks cheering for him in Middletown.”
