The Titans EHL, U16 National, and U18 AAA teams are all set to play in the USHL Atlantic Challenge in a little over a week. The tournament showcases EHL, U16 AAA, and U18 AAA teams in front of various USHL and college scouts. There are also USHL games played throughout the showcase, so the younger players can see what tier 1 junior hockey is all about. The showcase is September 5-7 at Twin Rinks of Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, NY.
The Titans EHL team only has one game, against the New York Bobcats. The U18 Titans have 3 games at the showcase, against the Philadelphia Revolution, Phoenix Coyotes, and the Northern Cyclones. The U16 Titan team returns to the USHL Challenge as the defending champs. They start the showcase off against the New York Applecore, and then they play against Team Illinois and the Philadelphia Little Flyers.
All teams are excited for the opportunity to play at this high level showcase. Coach Haviland said, “We have a good crop of talent on our youth teams that are headed up there and look forward to seeing the 16s return to the championship game.” The Titans wish all three teams the best of luck at the showcase.
