The Titans are lucky to have many great coaches in our organization that give time, energy and weekends to our kids. Each year we select "Coach of the Year" from these dedicated people.
Brandon Kape played for the club during it's inaugural season at the Midget Level and continued on through the Junior team. He then attended University of Rhode Island and played ACHA Div. 1 hockey and was the Captain of the team when they won the National Title. He brought with him URI teammate and friend Brian Goffe. Even with great playing credentials, its tough to step in at AAA and contribute as a coach as these young men did.
Both men were assisting Coach Haviland with the Bantam Major team, and took a larger and larger role over the course of the season. They bonded with the boys and slowly brought this team from underperformers to top playoff contenders. The transformation of the team for the last 2 months of the season and their playoff run is what every team and coach should aspire to; they improved the competitiveness of our players and tauught them how to win by helping them play to their potential as a team. Congratulations!
