The New Jersey Titans are proud of their 80+ alumni playing NCAA hockey.
Last Saturday saw Ivy League freshman Eric Charpentier (2021-23) score his first NCAA goal for Dartmouth, the only tally in a 2-1 loss against Brown. The 2022 Robertson Cup Champion has carved out a role on the Big Green blue line, skating in all 16 games so far this season and has also added two assists.
Elsewhere, Blake Humphrey (2020-21) scored his second of the year for Sacred Heart, giving the Pioneers a second period lead over Bentley. It would not be enough, as the Falcons emerged victorious in overtime. Jake Suede (2020-21) and his Adrian Bulldogs wouldn’t let their game get as close, with Suede scoring a pair as Adrian stormed over Lawrence 8-2. Keeping the scores a bit more lopsided, Jack Karlsson (2020-22) put up two assists for Stevenson in a 6-2 romp over Lebanon Valley.
Finally, on Sunday, Sylas Oberting (2021-23) scored his first in the NCAA to give Tufts a 2-0 lead over Hamilton College. The Jumbos pushed the lead to 3-0 before the Continentals tied the game in the third to draw even and salvage 1.5 points in NESCAC action. Oberting’s Jumbos are 8-0-1 in their last nine games, a point streak unseen since the 1994-95 season.
